School Music Performance

Last week, I went to the end of the year music concert at the kids' school in Abisko. Pretty impressive! There were kids from the ages of 7 to 15 playing music and singing together on stage.... electric guitars, drums, keyboards, microphones, xylophone... They managed to form proper bands!

I thought the music selection was quite interesting and a bit surprising. Here's what they played:

"Enter Sandman" by Metallica
"Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi
"I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry
"If I Was a Boy" by Beyonce
"L-O-V-E" by Nat King Cole

And we just sang songs in a choir when I was in grade school!

  1. I'm glad that little kids were singing "I kissed a girl" by Katy Perry. Wow! I think here the school would get a lot of angry phone calls from parents!
